The most fearful thing

The most fearful thing happened when I went to Thailand last summer. My family and I went to Pattaya and we rode elephants. It was sunny at first, however, it started raining when we tried to ride elephants. I think it was a squall. It was a very heavy rain and it started thundering! I was so afraid of falling on us. But, elephant trainers said "mypenlai," it means "No problem". In Japan, people in service industry, like elephant rider, will stop because it is the most important to save lives.

This story is actually a continuation of King Midas and the Gold. King Midas and King who has donkey ears are the same king. I read the story recently but I didn't know that.
King Midas was asked to judge a competition between a musician and the god Apollo. King Midas declared the musician the winner - and even said he was the better player. Apollo was so angry, he gave King Midas donkey's ears.
The King Midas was modeled on King Midas who really existed in the 10th B.C. That is so interesting. I didn't get what was a lesson from King Donkey Ears but I learned it as I knew these two stories were closely related. I think they told us to be always generosity to everybody. If we forgave for someone who made a mistake or something, we could feel comfortable.

About blogging

I have a blog except the English one. I started it in April last year but I hardly update it these days because it is kind of troublesome. I used to update diaries on my homepage very often when I was a high school student. Most of high school students had their own homepages then. I like seeing blogs of my friends. I can know what they did on their weekend. It is interesting. Blogging is kind of troublesome for me but I have to post to my English blog more and more.

What I hate is...

What I really hate are cockroaches!!! To get hotter, they appear in my house. One night, I was entering into my room, and I turned on the light, it was there!!!!! I screamed. It went behind a chest of wearing. It was around 11:30 o'clock. My father came to my room, but he just scored me and said, "You do not scream! Do you know what time it is? I'll go to bed, you should sleep any other rooms." He went to bed with leaving me alone. "Oh no, what should I do? I can't see it. Nobody helps me. I can't sleep in this room but I can't leave it." But finally, I killed it by using a insecticide. The next morning, one of my sister picked it up, and I cleaned my room.

It's no fun living in a shoe when you have as many children as this old woman. She needs to find a bigger home - and fast.

The old woman was great! I think the children were adopted. How gentle she was. It is hard to raise the naughty children, but she loved them. By the way, I would like to know why they lived in a shoe. She got a bigger shoe who a giant had at the end. I wonder if it didn't stink. It was a interesting story.

The Emperor's New Clothes

The Emperor's New Clothes

The emperor loves clothes and his new clothes are the best yet. What's more, they're invisible to anyone stupid. So the emperor is a little worried that he can't actually see them himself...

What a poor emperor! I laughed. He liked clothes very much and people praised him, but I wonder if they told the truth. I don't think that he had a sense of beauty. Who on earth wants to put magical clothes? Not me. Magical clothes!? It sounds too strange. Why all of the people believed it even they could not see it? I think men of today never believe it. This is a "story", so it's OK. Slimus and Slick were clever. They were lucky. Good (!?) job.
