Podcast episode5
I am going to talk about transportation of Halifax. There are no public transportation in Halifax. I mean bus service is not available there. However, there is a city bus running between Halifax and Dartmouth. The start fare is 2 dollars. Students of SMU can use campus bus. They have to buy the bus tickets for a year by 100 dollars. That's why, cars and bicycles are necessary for life. Halifax is a port town, so there are a lot of aquatic vehicles. If you want to travel outside of Halifax, you should use airplanes. According to Mio N, a senior of KGU, for domestic trip, you should use West Jet, and for International trip, Air Canada is good. Between Halifax Airport and SMU, you can use taxi for $53 or air porter for $21. Both of them take 30 minutes.
