Skinny mannequins renew “too thin” debate

Being as you are is the best
People should accept their figures as they are. People should not criticize “too thin.” Being “too thin” is not a problem. The problem is being anorexia. There are many skinny people by nature in the world. Most of them want to get weight because they don’t want to be considered anorexia. But it is hard for them to get weight. On the other hand, people in fashion industry, especially in France, make models think that being skinny is the best. Models who are not skinny by nature try to lose weight. As a result, most of models get to be anorexia. I watched Isabelle Caro who was anorexia on a TV show quite recently. She is one of the victims of fashion industry. In 2006, Governments of Italy and Spain forbade too thin models to take part in runway shows. However, the law seems to say being skinny is bad. Models who are skinny by nature lost their jobs. In order to solve this problem, fashion industry better produce various clothes anyone can put on. It is important to increase the variation of clothing sizes. In stores, they should not put only skinny mannequins but they also should put mannequins of standard proportions and plump ones. If people who are in fashion industry made up the beauty point of each proportion such as standard, plump and skinny, all people can have confidences of our own figures.
